Built to build.

The story of a modern commercial masonry company.

LK Masonry goes back to 2007, when Storm and Dominic met as nine-year-old ballplayers chasing the biggest stage a kid can play on: the Little League World Series.

That's where the friendship started, and it's been about building ever since. Duct tape forts, backyard obstacle courses, sports they made up on the spot. If there was something to put together, they were putting it together.

As they got older, they both found their way into the trades. Storm studied construction management at Kent State, and Dominic joined the bricklayers union. When they finished their programs, they reconnected and saw the same problem from two sides: the average mason is 55 years old, and there's no one lined up to take over when today's crews retire.

So they decided to be the ones who do. That's how LK Masonry was born. The company has grown to 12 employees.
